6.1. Purpose & Functionalities
The purpose and functionalities of the Vendors module are the following:
- IMS will be used as a front end to create and modify Vendors in NetSuite.
These Vendors can then be used in several modules such as:
- Requisitions
- GRN
- Employees
- …
Vendors will be classified in 8 main categories with different requirements:
- Labour Agency
- Material Supplier
- Overheads
- Plant
- Subcontractor (Supply & Install)
- Tax Agency
- Self-Employed
IMS will display the NetSuite internal ID for the Vendor and provide a shortcut to the NetSuite record for users with NetSuite access.
