5.1. Purpose & Functionalities
The purpose and functionalities of the Employee module are the following:
- IMS will be used as a front end to create and modify Employees in NetSuite.
These Employees can then be used in several modules such as:
- Access and Permissions
- Shift Reports
- Timesheets
- Training
- …
Employees will be classified in 2 main categories with different requirements:
- Agency Employees (also includes Self-Employed)
- Direct Employees
IMS will display the NetSuite internal ID for the Employee and provide a shortcut to the NetSuite record for users with NetSuite access.
IMS will also help managing the hiring process of direct Employees by creating steps before to track that all necessary information have been gathered before the Employee start on site.
The IMS interface will provide a count of the number of rows based on the filter applied.
